Algae Watch is an interactive mobile app that allows the user to record calculations and receive results in the simplest manner.
The goal is to create a positive user experience. The app will be user-friendly and cater to those who have little to no knowledge about algae or how to record it. It can also be accessible to scientists or more knowledgeable users who need to make estimations or records.
This app builds on the idea of providing a database where users can upload sections of photos for scientists and/or other users to provide feedback, in addition to providing the tools users might need to record/input requested measurements.
